BORN IN 2007

… And by that I mean my life really started when I moved back to New York at age 16 after living in NH for my adolescence. I took my first painting class in a tiny studio in Harlem. In that studio I discovered my superpower with a paintbrush.

My use of color, the human form, and the natural world showcase my passion for people, girl power and my Latin culture. I’d like my work to make people feel happy and think positively!

I got a BFA from the Fashion Institute of Technology. My artwork has been published and shown in galleries in NYC and Yonkers. For two years I worked in Art Therapy, assisting Autistic Brooklyn residents at a respite program in Brooklyn. That experience changed my life and taught me how powerful art is as a tool to communicate.

In 2017 I began my journey in the dark (digital) arts. Following in my mothers footsteps, I’ve worked in the fashion industry as a designer for 5 years. My top skills in design are color psychology, illustrating, photo manipulation, and layout design.

I work as a professional artist and designer in Brooklyn NY under the name Covered In Paint. CVRDNPNT was founded when I was 18 and literally always had paint on me. It represents a way of living where you know to have anything great in life you need to be willing to go through/make a mess. It’s an ideology I’ve lived by to be fearless in my pursuit to tell my story, spread love and uplift others.
